Helen Woodward Animal Center Invited Fidos to Fetch Waves at Longest Running Canine Surf Competition
It’s back! Last weekend, the longest running doggie surf competition returns to Del Mar Dog Beach, raising life-saving funds for orphan pets at Helen Woodward Animal Center.
SurFURS and gromMUTTs were eager to dive into action and fetch top dog honors at the ultimate summer-closer. Over 50 surfing dogs were entered for the competition.The 2022 Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon was a tremendous success! Not only did everyone have a blast on the beach watching the surFURS compete, but vital funds were raised for the orphan pets and programs at Helen Woodward Animal Center!
