“Legend has had a wonderful 2023 year so far. I’m extremely happy to share with you all his accomplishments this year. On March 16th Legend earned his Therapy Dog Novice (TDN), May 14th he earned his CPE C-ATCH and on June 4th he earned his CDX. We were able to accomplish all three of these goals by the time Legend turned 3 years old. We put in a lot of time & hard work but we kept it fun as we grew & learned from one another. On this day, 1/8/2022 we celebrated Hal Block’s 90th Birthday at Doggie U. Hal has been coming for years to our trials, with his daughters Amy and Sue. His personal dog ran many times at Doggie U, Truffles in the company of Amy on the course. We were so happy to have had this lovely party in his behalf. Thank you Hal for being a special part of Doggie U.
Hal’s message: Dear Teri and all my friends at Doggie U, thank you so much for the amazing surprise birthday celebration. I was shocked!! When I walked in and saw you all in the ring. The decorations and the food all marvelous. The bottle was beautiful in the wooden box. I couldn’t believe you actually stopped the trial for me. I never thought I was a show stopper. Doggie U family to me and I will always remember my 90th. Isn’t it wonderful that our puppies brought us together and hold us together. Again Thanks, Hal. |

Montana – Zephyr Mt Dragonfire
This weekend October 2 & 3, Montana and Louise Wetzel journeyed to Freehold NJ to do some Fast Cat at the Bayshore Companion Dog Club Trial. She received 4 qualifying runs and finished her FCAT title, which requires 500 points, this is the second level of Fast Cat. She ran brilliantly and swiftly. Montana is currently the highest scoring AKC Working Kelpie in 2020 and in 2021. Way to go Montana! She loves running fast… |

Journi earned her C-ATCH on July 18th, 2021. We both have learned to trust each other & I never thought I’d say this, but agility has really brought us closer together. It’s been a pleasure to be agility partners with such a brave & outgoing girl. I have a shirt with a person running with their dog that says, “Stride by Stride, Always By Your Side”. You & me, Journi, stride by stride, I’ll always be at your side. Congratulations Journi! I love you girl! In addition to this achievement, I’d like to also add that Journi earned her AKC Therapy Dog title on January 12,2021. She completed 100+ visits for the therapy group Paws For Friendship. Teri Nolan who is one of our Agility Instructors, participated with Bravo the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, in the Westminster Masters Agility Championship, on Friday June 3 at the Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarry town NY. They did a great job, qualifying in both Standard and Jumpers. |

Errol C-ATE 2-21-21
Thank you to Team Errol for all your hard work running him to achieve this lofty title.
My boy, loves all his handlers so much and is always willing to play with them, especially if there are treats involved. Errol loves his ladies of the Team. And occasionally a man who might be willing to run with him, Lenny, Lou and Len.
Errol turned 12 in August and his love of agility and food has not diminished at all in all these years.

Montana, who is a Working Kelpie, got her Rally Novice title on may 21, 2021. It has been fun working with her in Rally and Obedience. She is quite talented in those sports.
She is also the #1 Working Kelpie in AKC Fast Cat, she has a need for speed!

Reilly has his C-ATCH-3 and C-ATE. He is currently 360 points away from his C-ATE-2, he has all his extraordinaire titles, as well as his 10,000 points title. His cumulative lifetime points is 13915. He has been to Nationals a total of 3 times – twice in Ohio and once in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, the last 2 have been cancelled. We love Doggie U and appreciate all of you tremendously. I still recall a not so good experience when getting his C-ATE at another place, which was so disappointing. However, it was the very next trial when all of you at Doggie U made it memorable. I will never forget the roses and how special all of you were in celebrating his C-ATE. Now, we can look back and have some good and warm memories! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

In his very first confirmation show Marvin was great – behaving like a seasoned champ. He was awarded Best of Opposite at the Potomac Staffordshire Bull Terrier Specialty Sweepstakes and won his class the two days he competed for best of breed.
