A new photo exhibition honors NYPD police officers and their K9 partners who help to protect New York City. A new exhibit entitled The Dogs That Serve opens this week at the AKC Museum of the Dog in the Murray Hill section of New York City, not far from the Empire State Building.
New York’s Finest four-legged friends.
The exhibit features NYPD K9s from the five boroughs, who are all named after fallen officers from the NYPD, FDNY and US Armed Forces.

From the AKC Museum website:
The Dogs That Serve tells the story of the NYPD Transit Bureau Canine Unit through the use of beautiful images captured by Margaret Foxmoore. The exhibition is punctuated with articles written by the unit’s founding officers and those who currently serve and explores moments with the officers and their K9 partners photographed over the past six years. These are the teams that keep New York City, and the nation safer.
The exhibition runs March 13, 2024 – May 5, 2024.
